Counselling For Children
Children experience big emotions too, but they do not always have the words, understanding, or confidence to express what they are feeling. Sometimes difficult feelings can appear through behaviour changes, worries, anger, withdrawal, or struggles at school and home. Even within loving, supportive families, children can sometimes need extra help from someone outside of their everyday world.

Counselling provides a gentle, safe, and accepting space where children can explore their feelings in ways that feel natural to them, whether through talking, creativity, or play. With the right support, children can begin to understand their emotions, build resilience, and develop healthy ways of coping, helping them feel more confident, secure, and understood.

Sessions may include therapy cards, music, creative play, sand tray work, drawing, puppets and more. It depends on the presenting issue and on what feels most supportive for the child.
I offer a warm, welcoming therapeutic space where children can express themselves safely and at their own pace.
