My Approach
My approach is trauma-informed, rooted in trust and creating safety, and I work collaboratively with clients to build a strong therapeutic relationship.

Some therapists prefer to remain a blank slate, and that can be the right fit for many clients. Other clients value a therapist who brings transparency about their lived experience. My belief is that clients should have the agency to choose what (and therefore who) feels right for them.

As a survivor of complex trauma, I understand that for some, knowing their therapist has lived through mental health challenges may not be what they are looking for—and that's okay. If authenticity acquired from experiential knowledge sounds helpful for you, I am here to offer a safe space where you can feel seen, heard, respected and supported.
Please know that I won’t speak about my own experiences in the therapy room, as it is your space and time.
